A South African-based e-commerce platform is set to launch its activities in Kenya.

Its launch on December 13 will see the company have an opportunity to facilitate business-to-business trade between Kenya and other countries within the continent.

The launch will not only be in Nairobi but also South Africa, Nigeria and Egypt on the same day.

Zandaux.com Chief Executive Officer Franck Obambi Ngatse termed the platform a premier B2B multi-vendor marketplace in Africa.

He said the platform will power Kenyan suppliers with a robust e-commerce space for seamless local and continental trade.

"We match the manufacturers, producers, wholesalers, distributors, suppliers, importers and exporters with retail businesses and as well as other players in trade in the selected African countries," Ngatse said.

On Wednesday, Zandaux.com held a pre-launch press conference to unveil its transformative approach to African business.

Reumer said the platform targets to have over 5,000  merchant traders in Egypt5,000 South Africa 3,000 in Kenya and 10,000 in Nigeria by the first quarter of 2024
