Equity Group Foundation and the Kenya Covid-19 Fund Board on Tuesday commenced the second phase of PPEs distribution at the College of Health Science Kenyatta Hospital.

This comes amidst an escalating caseload of infections across the country. The donation was part of sustained efforts to protect medics from the coronavirus.

 

The consignment consisted of locally manufactured personal protective equipment valued at Sh125 million to be distributed to public hospitals, and another one designated for final year medical and dental students valued at Sh10 million to 11 universities.
