• Asian group donated food and sanitary materials
A consortium for street children and youth on Monday mobilised food from the Visa Oshwal community and sanitation materials from Kepsa for the vulnerable street children without food and shelter during this difficult times of coronavirus threat and curfew.
Speaking during the flagging off, Mind Your Community director Joshua Kimemia said, "They need civic education and material help. People need to come out there and tell them this is what is to be done, in terms of social distancing and sanitation."
Visa Oshwal Community vice chair Jinit Shah added, “Food is a basic need that each and every Kenyan should not have trouble accessing. This is why the Oshwal Community has come in to help the less fortunate cope with these hard times.”
