Southern Africa states mark SADC Day

The Southern African Development Community Day celebrations took place at the official residence of the Botswana High Commissioner in Muthaiga, Nairobi, on September 14. The hosts were Botswana High Commissioner Duke Lefhoko and his wife Gladys.

The event was organised by nine SADC countries accredited and resident in Kenya. They are (Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania (chair), Zambia and Zimbabwe).

The event celebrated SADC values and citizens. The chief guest was Foreign Affairs CAS Ababu Namwamba.
