World cup of wine tasting event

The world cup of wine tasting event took place in Westlands at the Sierra Burger and Wine restaurant. It attracted guests from the trade and media industries. 

The event was the launch of the Kenya Edition of the tri-annual Sommelier World Cup- Kenya edition.

The competition, whose finals will be in Cape Town in September, is open to individuals working in the wine trade. It will draw entries from Kenya, Ghana, Zimbabwe, China, USA, Sweden, Netherlands and the UK.

In attendance was Africa Market Manager of Wines of South Africa (WOSA) Matome Mbatha, among other wine enthusiasts.
