The Kenya Diaspora Alliance (KDA) with the collaboration with Diaspora Investment Club DICL hosted their cocktail party at the Serena hotel Nairobi on Wednesday night.

The KDA is network of Kenyans from across the globe with 27 affiliate countries and a membership of over 250,000.

The guest of honor, Deputy Chair African Union Erastus Mwenja said those in the national assembly and the senate should fast track their efforts in deliberating on the Diaspora bill as its implantation will boost Kenya’s economy.

He said that AU is working on a convention to capture intellectual capacity to be used in Africa.

The event was attended by politician Peter Kenneth, Kisumu county govenor Jack Ranguma and Nairobi deputy governor Jonathan Mueke.
