Do you know you can stop splurging on those expensive scented candles and do with a few supplies?
If you are sensitive to fragrance, you can leave it out. But the key things you will need is wax, a wick and a container.
Equipment
- A source of heat
- A sufuria or pot
- Wax
- Wick
- Container
- Fragrance (optional)
- Colour
- Skewer stick
Preparation
Step 1
Take a small candle container and put it at the center of your container. Place the wick then pour the wax in the candle container for it to stick at the bottom.
Step 2
In a sufuria over medium heat, add the wax and allow it to melt.
Step 3
Add in colour and fragrance onto the melted wax then combine.
Step 4
Hold the wick up and use the skewers to keep it in place. Pour the wax mixture into the container.
Step 5
Let the wax completely cool, then trim the wick down to size.
