Today we dive in on how to make a tasty chicken curry meal.
Ingredients.
1kg chicken fillet cut into pieces
2 onions finely chopped
2 teaspoons chilli powder
3 tomatoes finely chopped
Turmeric
1/4 cup Cream
1/4 cup plain yoghurt
Chopped coriander leaves
6 garlic cloves crushed
Vegetable oil
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
Directions.
1. Combine the garlic, turmeric and some vegetable oil in a large bowl.
2. Add garam masala,paprika, chilli flakes and yoghurt to the mixture.
3. Add your pieces of chicken fillet and coat with the marinade.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry your marinated chicken.
6. In another cooking pot, heat the remaining oil and cook onion, chilli powder, garlic and turmeric.
7. Stir to soften the onions.
8. Add your finely chopped tomatoes.
9. Simmer and cover for 10 minutes.
10. Stir in cream and simmer uncovered a minute.
11. Add chicken to the curry simmering again for about 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
12. Remove from heat and add fresh coriander.
13. Serve your chicken curry hot with rice.
