  • Drain the mixture into a cocktail glass. You can add extra ice cubes if you like.
  • Garnish your drink with an orange slice or a strawberry.

Description

The egg white soothes the sour flavour and gives the drink a richer, smoother texture.

The egg is not mandatory and bars and clubs frequently serve whiskey sours without the egg white.

However, give it a try if you want to experience the drink's original flavour and add some protein to your diet.

When using egg white, shake the components without ice cubes before shaking them again with ice.

Always use freshly squeezed juice for your whiskey sour. Juice from bottles that mimic fresh juices is incomparable.

You can substitute lime for lemon if you don't have any at hand (or mix the two).

Enjoy your whiskey sour cocktail with an orange slice or a cherry or strawberry on a drink spear (optional but highly recommended!).

Serve on the rocks. Cheers!
