Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chili pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 pounds green beans ends trimmed
  • ¼ glass water

Preparation

Step 1

In a large sufuria or pan heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook garlic 30 seconds to 1 minute or until fragrant.

Step 2

Add green beans and cook, stirring often or until beans are beginning to brown.

Step 3

Add water and soy sauce. Cover and let cook 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Step 4

Add sweet chilli sauce, crushed chilli pepper flakes and salt to taste.

Step 5

Heat through. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately.

Step 6

Enjoy with fried rice, beef or pasta.
