Recipe: Easy way to make egg fried rice

When spiced up it can be eaten as it is or it can be combined with vegetable

Rice is one of the meals that you can be creative with by making interesting and delicious recipes.

When spiced up it can be eaten as it is or it can be combined with vegetable or meat stews.

Egg-fried rice is very easy to make and once you figure out how to make it you will crave it all the time.

Ingredients

  • Rice- two cups

  • 3 red onions

  • 5 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • One avocado

  • Soy sauce

  • 1/2 a teaspoon of salt

  • Cooking oil

  • Peas/sweet corn(optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Measure two cups of rice, wash it and add four cups(of the same cup used to measure the rice) of water to a sufuria and bring to a boil and add the rice.

Step 2

After the rice is ready, put it aside.

Step 3

Chop up the onions into fine dice. They will be added after the rice so that they remain crunchy.

Step 4

Beat up all the eggs and add some salt to them.

Step 5

Add some cooking oil to a pan, add the eggs and scramble them into big chunks.

Step 6

After a few minutes, the eggs will be done, add the rice then add all the spices including the soy sauce and mix well.

Step 7

Add the chopped onions and continue mixing so that they blend in together.

You can add cooked peas or sweet corn to add more colour and flavour.

Step 8

Dice up the avocado add some salt top to the rice, serve while hot and enjoy.
