Ruto presents Miss World Kenya flag to Kanze Dena's sister

Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday presented flags to Mr World Kenya 2019 and the Miss World Kenya 2019 1st Runners up.

Taking to Twitter, he said he presented the flags to Mr World Kenya 2019 Franklyne Asoyo and Miss World Kenya 2019 1st Runners Elsie Hemsi Stephens, who is Kanze Dena's younger sister.

"Presented flags to Franklyne Asoyo, the Mr World Kenya 2019 and Elsie Hemsi Stephens, the Miss World Kenya 2019 1st Runners-Up on behalf of Maria Wavinya, the Miss World Kenya 2019, who is contesting in the pageantry in London, UK," the tweet read.

Miss World 2019 will be the 69th edition.

The final competition will be held on December 14 at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom.

Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant.

It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951.
