No impeachment motion was tabled in Parliament against President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto was not trying to remove him, Musalia Mudavadi has said.

Mudavadi was addressing a rally at Mbale town after church services in Mululu.

The ANC boss and Kenya Kwanza principal was responding to the President's comments that his deputy Ruto planned to impeach him.

Mudavadi said Kenyatta should accept his term is ending and he should stop creating irrelevant stories.

“What the President said yesterday [Saturday] is too late and nobody will trust you, and your plan to force Kenyans to vote for Raila Odinga has hit a snag,” Wetang'ula said.

“If DP Ruto did so, where was that motion drafted from and who presented it to the Parliament,” he asked.

Wetang, ula urged the President to stop selling fear to Kenyans, saying Kenyans won't tolerate it.

“In Bungoma, Raila Odinga is a story of the past and even his Eugene [Wamalwa], whom they want to use to rattle us, won’t succeed," Wetang'ula said.
