President William Ruto has affirmed his commitment to delivering the goals outlined in his campaign manifesto The Plan and urged Kenyans to be patient amid prevailing challenges.
While speaking at priesthood church during a Sunday service in Kahawa West, Ruto emphasised his strategic plan to ensure that the electorate do not regret electing him as the country's leader.

He cited improvements in the cost of living and other sectors since the beginning of his term.
"My plan for this country has started to bear fruits, the cost of living is improving among others and from the first day, we have worked hard to move the country forward despite challenges we experienced," Ruto said.
The President credited his government for jumpstarting the economy under difficult circumstances, stating that the journey to transform Kenya for present and future generations was well underway.
He noted that a lot of initiatives have been taken to bring the cost of living down.
He cited as an example the cost of maize flour (Unga) which he said has already gone down.
While acknowledging the contributions of the dialogue team, he expressed readiness to implement recommended measures, urging both leaders and citizens to support and pray for the country.
The team made public its report on Saturday but stated that both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza sides failed to agree on the issue of bringing down the cost of living.
Ruto further outlined ongoing efforts to breathe life into governance with the aim to significantly improve the well-being of citizens while fostering unity, stability and security.
Speaking at the same church service, Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri urged Mt Kenya residents to disregard negative rhetoric about the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Kiunjuri affirmed Ruto's determination to enhance citizens' lives and encouraged patience, drawing parallels to past administrations that initially faced criticism but later earned public trust through economic transformations.
“The President hasn’t denied that life is hard but he is doing everything possible to ensure that the cost of living goes down and we will support him," Kiunjuri said.
He noted that during the first year of former President Mwai Kibaki's rule, Kenyans started complaining but later loved him due to economic transformation that he initiated.
Kiunjuri said Kenyans should accord Ruto enough time to deliver on all the promises he gave during his campaign period.
Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, popularly known as KJ, voiced support for the inclusive nature of the Kenya Kwanza administration, emphasising Ruto's readiness to uplift citizens through various projects.
Kiarie called for comprehensive backing of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party leader Raila Odinga has recently threatened unspecified consequences against President William Ruto's administration for failing to heed to the people's calls to lower the cost of living.
In a press briefing at Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Command Centre, the Azimio chief warned the current regime that if it continues turning a deaf ear to the plight of Kenyans, they would face what he said is the same axe that has befallen other oppressive regimes across the continent in recent times.
"There are strong indications that things will get worse or remain the same. We, however, refuse to ask you to tighten your belts, you have done enough," Raila said.
"The ball is squarely in the court of the regime. They either act or await the fate that has befallen other insensitive and incompetent regimes across the continent," he said.
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna echoed the sentiments and urged President Ruto to prioritise the interests of Kenyans and address the challenges facing the nation.
