Kimilili MP Didmus Baraza has asked the UDA National Executive Council (NEC) to dismiss acting secretary general Cleophas Malala on claims he is an ODM mole.

According to the legislator, Malala has continued to disrespect National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangu'la and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi by holding a series of meetings in Western Kenya aimed at inciting the people against the two.

“By weakening the leaders from Western Kenya, he is basically laying the ground for ODM to thrive in 2027 elections,” Baraza claimed.

According to Baraza, asking the two leaders and other MPs from the region to show the number of people they have employed and the number of development projects they have brought to the region is an attempt to discredit President William Ruto's government.

"He has been unable to match Edwin Sifuna of ODM who is his equal," he claimed.

Addressing the press in parliament buildings, Baraza warned that should the NEC fail to fire him, they are going to take it upon themselves to forcibly eject him.

“We will march to Hustler's house; we will go there in thousands and physically eject him,” he stated.

Malala could not be reached for a comment over the allegations levelled against him. Several attempts to reach him were unsuccessful.
