Mutua moved to Tourism as Mudavadi takes over Foreign Affairs

The Tourism docket was initialy held by CS Peninah Malonza.

Cabinet secretary Alfred Mutua has been moved to the Tourism and Wildlife docket following the latest reshuffle by President William Ruto. 

Mutua was serving in the foreign and diaspora affairs ministry.

Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi will now take over the Foreign and diaspora affairs docket.

The new docket means an additional responsibility for Mudavadi.

CS Mutua will now take over from Peninah Malonza who has been moved to the Ministry of East African Community, The ASALs and Regional Development. 

Alice Wahome has also been moved from Water ministry to the Ministry of Lands, Public works, Housing and Urban Development. 

She has now been replaced by CS Zacharia Njeru. 

Rebeca Miano will now lead the Trade ministry, after Moses Kuria was moved to Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management. 

Reports of President William Ruto's plan to reshuffle the cabinet have been rife for quite some time now. 

The reshuffle did not only come with the moving of eight cabinet secretaries, to new dockets, but also the renaming of ministries. 

The head of state has also reshuffled principal secretaries, as well as appointed ambassadors.
