Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has dispatched key members of the Azimio coalition to lead anti-government demonstrations at the grassroots on Wednesday.
It has emerged that Raila decided to devolve the protests across the country to redeem the demonstration from being branded an affair of his Luo community.
The Azimio boss has called for countrywide demonstrations on Wednesday as he ramps up pressure on President William Ruto's administration.
After what was seen as largely successful protests on Friday, Raila's close allies will now take charge of the demonstrations across the country.
However, in the new strategy, governors will not take the lead in the protests with MPs slotted in to fire up the demonstrations at the grassroots.

In Nairobi, the protests will be led by Makadara MP George Aladwa who will work closely with his Westlands counterpart Tim Wanyoni and Embakasi East's Babu Owino.
Aladwa said Azimio was adopting a new strategy to take the protests down to the grassroots.
"It is our people who have asked that we take the demonstrations to them and that is why we have clustered the regions,'' he said.
In Kisumu, Kisumu Central MP Joshua Oron is the main point man for Wednesday's protests but working closely with Nyando MP Jared Okello.
In Kisii, Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi and his Bomachoge Borabu counterpart Obadiah Barongo will lead the charge.
Kisii witnessed the biggest protests in the country last Friday with reports indicating that at least three people lost their lives.
In neighbouring Nyamira, it is understood that ODM National Treasurer Timothy Bosire will lead the charge.
"It is very clear that Kenyans are up in arms to save their country and their future," Bosire said.
The former Kitutu Masaba MP said that the opposition is keen on the 10 million signature collection to exercise Article One of the Constitution.
"Because they decided to discredit our signature collection, we want to manifest ourselves as a team that is anchored in maturity, if we find Kenyans have responded to the extent we want, then we will invoke article One of the Constitution," he said.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to take charge of Ukambani region protests and the signature collection programme.
Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua is expected to lead the anti-Ruto campaigns in the Central Kenya region.
She will work with ousted Jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni and former Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria.
In the Mt Kenya East region, former Meru Governor Peter Munya will take charge of the campaigns for the first time in months.
The former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary declared that he will lead demonstrations in Meru.
The opposition is riding on the growing public disillusionment to fire up his campaigns amid the rising cost of living.
In Laikipia, Former Mungiki Leader Maina Njenga will take charge of the protests in the county with ex-governor Nderitu Muriithi being part of the team.
At the Coast region, Senate Minority Leader Stewart Madzayo will also be in charge with the support of Likoni MP Mishi Mboko.
In Western Kenya, former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa and ex-Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya will be in charge.
In West Pokot, Pokot South MP David Pkosing will lead the Azimio protests and signature collection.
