A Nandi secondary school teacher has been interdicted by the Teachers Service Commission for allegedly eating all bananas and drinking milk in the Principal’s office.

The Lelmokwo Secondary School teacher allegedly stormed the principal’s office, ate the bananas and took all the milk.

It is also alleged the teacher stormed the kitchen and forced the cooks to serve him chicken meant for visitors.

In a letter addressed to the teacher by the Nandi County TSC deputy director W.O Mosigisi, he was accused of breaking the rules.

“I am directed by TSC to tell you that you have breached Clause C (iii) and (iv) of the Third Schedule of the Act.”

“You stormed the principal’s office on March 15 around 1.30 pm without permission and ate all the bananas and milk in the fridge,” Mosigisi said.

“You stormed the school kitchen on March 16 and forced the school workers to serve you chicken which was meant for visitors,” said the TSC letter.

The TSC deputy director, consequently, interdicted the teacher with effect from May 22.

“Before the commission proceeds to consider and determine your case, you are invited to make a defence statement to the commission in writing within 21 days,” said the deputy county boss.

The teacher was also assured that he will be allowed to be heard by the commission.
