Police are investigating an incident in which a Swiss national was found dead in his house on Ngong Road, Nairobi.

Jacques Hess, who also had a Kenyan identification card, lived at Santana Court on Ndemi Road, off Ngong Road.

Police said they were informed his body was lying on a bed and the cause of the death is yet to be known.

The body had no visible injuries then and was moved to Montezuma funeral home, awaiting a postmortem examination.

Elsewhere, police are investigating an incident in which the body of a 39-year-old man was found trapped on a ceiling after an electrocution in the Kabete, Nairobi.

Felix Gichia had been missing from Sunday until Tuesday, when his body was discovered.

The deceased had black blisters on the right hand and was bleeding from the mouth, police said.

His relative said he went to check on him when he discovered a hole leading to the ceiling and later found the body trapped therein.

Police said a live electric cable was found hanging next to the body, and it is believed it caused the death.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
