Sychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan is among international dignitaries who are gracing this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations.

Also present is former President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou who was welcomed by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his wife Pastor Dorcus Gachagua.

Comoros President Azali Assoumani is also in attendance.

At least 10,000 people are attending  Kenya's 60th Madaraka celebrations in Embu County.
