Final preparations are underway at the Moi Stadium in Embu County ahead of Madaraka Day celebrations.

The country is set to celebrate it's 60th Madaraka Day that will see Kenyans from all walks of life converge at the venue.

Military was undertaking final preparations as Kenyans thronged the venue from as early as 8 am.

They were seen checking security as others prepared presidential dias.

President William Ruto will preside over the event.
