The Public Service Commission has shortlisted 10 candidates to battle it out for the position of chairperson of the Commission for Revenue Allocation.
Among the big names on the shortlist is former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati's wife, Mary Chebukati Wanyonyi.
Others on the list include former Eldama Ravine MP Moses Lessonet, ex-Wundayi MP Thomas Mwadeghu and former Broadcasting PS Esther Koimett.
Maurice Onyango, Hussein, Dima, Charles Gathuto, Paul K. Kamau Felicity Biriri and John Njagi are also on the list.
Chebukati's wife was also shortlisted and interviewed for the post of Principal Secretary but was not successful.
Mary holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce with a bias in Accounting.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a member of ICPAK and ICIFA.
She has been a member of the boards of the Cooperative University College, Kenyatta National Hospital, and Maasai Mara University.
She is also a certified mediator.

The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), is an independent Commission set up under Article 215 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
The commissioners serve for a non-renewable term of six years.
The commission is made up of a chairperson, who is nominated by the President and approved by the National Assembly and two persons nominated by the political parties represented in the National Assembly according to their proportion of members in the Assembly.
Others are five persons nominated by the political parties represented in the Senate according to their proportion of members in the Senate.
The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of the National Treasury is also a commissioner.

They are Benedict Muasya Mutiso, Wilfred Koitamet Olekina Nchoshoi, Fatuma Gedi, George Jalang’o Midiwo, Hadija Nganyi Juma, Isabel Nyambura Waiyaki, Jonas Misto Vincent Kuko and Chris Kiptoo.
