Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has said the Jubilee party should now move to oust former President Uhuru Kenyatta from the party for undermining the government.

Cherargei, on Tuesday, said Uhuru is undermining the government, yet it's duly recognised.

"Next is to remove Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta from his position as heads to ODM/ Azimio-Oka for undermining the government that is duly recognised," he said.

This comes as the Registrar of political parties moved to ratify the decision by the Jubilee party to remove Jeremiah Kioni and David Murathe as party secretary general and deputy vice chairman respectively.

Cherargei recognised the Registrar of political parties' decision and added that Uhuru also ought to be ousted.

Kioni was replaced by Eala MP Kanini Kega as the acting secretary general of the party.

Last week, Uhuru affirmed that the Jubilee party is still strong.

Barely 24 hours later, some of his party members accompanied President William Ruto to a church service in Nakuru and pledged allegiance to him.

During the church service, Kega recognised that Ruto is the Head of State.

"By the mere fact that we are here, it shows that the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya is none other than William Samoei Ruto," he said.

Kega said Jubilee will support Ruto in his endevours.

"With 34 members in the National Assembly and in the Senate we will be walking and working with you your Excellency," he said.
