A section of Jubilee MPs have attended a thanksgiving service at Nakuru county where President William Ruto is also in attendance.

This comes barely 24 hours after  Jubilee founder Uhuru Kenyatta affirmed that the party is still strong and the members together.

"Ata kama hatuko siasa active, bado tuko kwa ile chama tulikuwa nayo na bado tunaendelea kuunga Azimio mkono.Hakuna mambo yamebadilika," Uhuru said.

However, on Sunday the 32 Jubilee MPs who visited Ruto at State Hosue this week were in Nakuru for a church service.

They were led by EALA MP Kanini Kega and Nominated MP Sabina Chege.

Speaking in Nakuru, Kega recognized that Ruto is the Head of State.

"By the mere fact that we are here, it shows that the fifth president of the Republic of Kenya is none other than William Samoei Ruto," he said.

Other members of the party in attendance were former Taveta MP Naomi Shaban and party Chair Nelson Zuya and Jimmy Angwenyi.

Kega said all 34 members of the Jubilee party will support Ruto in his endevours.

" With 34 members in the National Assembly and in the Senate we will be walking and working with you your Excellency," he said.

The Jubilee party has been rocked with wrangles ever since a section of the members visited President William Ruto at State House.

The first visit was last month while the second one which was last week saw 32 Jubilee members at State House.

What followed next was a committee meeting at the Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Kisumu which was attended by EALA MP  Kanini Kega, Rachel Nyamai, Naomi Shaban and Joshua Kutuny among others.

Following a meeting by the National Executive Executive Committee on Friday, they wrote to Kioni, suspending him from the position on claims of gross misconduct.

He was replaced with Kanini Kega.

Also suspended are Treasurer Kagwe Gichohi and vice chairman David Murathe.

However, Kioni insisted that he is still the Jubilee secretary general despite the National Executive Committee suspending him.

The party has moved to start making its exit from the Azimio Coalition.

The party said they now seek to join the Kenya Kwanza team under Ruto's leadership.
