President William Ruto has promised to serve all Kenyans equally irrespective of their political affiliations.

The President said on Saturday that his Kenya Kwanza government will not discriminate against any shade of Kenyans.

“I want to assure you that we shall work for all Kenyans, those who voted for us and those who did not vote for us, all Kenyans have a right because Kenya is one country where democracy allows us to decide,” he said.

“ All of us, as leaders, we shall work together without political or regional affiliations, we shall serve all Kenyans.”

The President said elections were now behind Kenyans and that they need to forge together for the development of the country.

“From MCAs, MPs, Senators, we want to ensure that we work for our people,” he said.

At the same time, Ruto said he will meet the leaders from Trans Nzoia to develop a collaboration mechanism to ensure even development in the region.

“Natembeya we have agreed that we shall meet shortly and so that all the issues you have raised, I will tell you how to move forward,” he said in Kitale during the consecration of the new Catholic Bishop.

The President promised to revive the many development projects that stalled in the region including roads.

“Many of the roads we commission stalled because we had some challenges,” he said.

At the same time Ruto promised that the Kitale Prison will be moved to pave the way for the expansion of the town as leaders from the region had asked.

On farming, Ruto said the government has availed 4 million bags of fertilizer during the planting season with 2 million bags available for top dressing.
