President William Ruto has released a list of 51 Principal Secretaries that will help him run the government. 

The list is from over 500 individuals who were interviewed for the 50 slots.

Ruto has forwarded the list to National Assembly for vetting. 

The poll losers who have made it to the list are Nixon Korir and Jonathan Mueke. 

Korir has been nominated to State department of Lands and physical planning.  

The former legislator who had served Lang'ata Constituency for five years, conceded defeat to Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o, even before IEBC announced the official results.

"From the results that we've tallied at the Generali centre, my competitor Jalango has a lead and I want to congratulate him as he prepares to take the mantle and move Langata forward. "

He took to social media to thank the Lang'ata residents for according him an opportunity to be their Member of Parliament for the last five years.

"To the people of Lang'ata, I  sincerely thank you for according me an opportunity to be your Member of Parliament for the last 5 years," Korir  said 

Jonathan Mueke, who had previously served as Nairobi's first deputy governor tried his luck in Kitui in the gubernatorial position.

Mueke has been nominated to the State Department for Sports and the Arts.

He conceded defeat in the race, acknowledging that the election was done with a level of political maturity that shows the strides the country has made. 

"Kenya is truly poised to be an economic and political powerhouse on our continent. Because of my desire to serve Kitui and the people of Kenya, we have over the last 2 years ran a spirited race for Governor," he said.

"A race founded on integrity, honesty and goodwill to do the right thing for our people."
