Attorney General Justin Muturi has vowed to ensure the Judiciary and Executive arms of the government have good working relations.
Muturi spoke on Tuesday after his swearing-in as a JSC commissioner at the Supreme Court.
The swearing-in was presided over by Chief Justice Martha Koome.
Muturi assured the public of his unwavering support and commitment towards the fulfilment of the role of the commission.
He also appreciated the honour of joining the Judicial Service Commission.
“I promise to be a valuable team player in the commission and serve as a link between the commission and the executive branch, as we work towards the realisation of the constitutional mandate of the JSC,” he said.
Muturi will manage relations between the Executive and the Judiciary.
During his vetting by the National Assembly, the former speaker promised to ensure that cordial relations are maintained.
