Haile Selassie Avenue to be closed temporarily Saturday

It will be opened on Sunday at 5am.

A section of Haile Selassie Avenue (CBD bound lanes ) will be temporarily closed from Saturday 10pm.

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) in a statement said the road will be opened on Sunday at 5am.

KeNHA said the section that will be closed is between Haile Selassie roundabout and Parliament Road.

The temporary closure is to allow for the installation of service ducts.

KeNHA has advised motorists to follow the proposed traffic management and cooperate with the police and traffic marshals on site.

The authority further announced temporary closure of Haile Selassie Avenue (Upper Hill bound) between Rubis/Neno Evangelism Church Detour and Haile Selassie Roundabout.

It said the section of the road will be closed from Sunday 10pm and reopened Monday, April 15 at 5am.

KeNHA said it's for the same purpose of installing service ducts.
