The Ministry of Health has issued an advisory on fake reports making rounds on social media about an advertisement for job opportunities.

The poster claimed there are 11,600  data entry clerk jobs at the Social Health Insurance Fund job opportunities.

In a statement on Thursday on their X page, MoH asked Kenyans to be vigilant to avoid being scammed.

"Beware of a fake job advert claiming to be from the Ministry of Health Social Health Insurance Fund. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud. Share to spread awareness!"

The fake advertisement stated successful candidates were to be paid a salary of Sh45,850.
