Taraji Afrika Educational Group(TAEG) has rebranded and unveiled two schools that will be offering a competency-based curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum.

The group will now operate as Brookside International Schools and Taraji Afrika Academy Schools.

Previously, the group was operating five brands known as Brookside Preparatory School, Westlands; Early Learning Academy, Kitui and Redhill; and Montessori House, Mountain View.

"The rebranding exercise aims to reorganize the institutions into a more unified structure- bringing the Cambridge curriculum schools under the Brookside International Schools brand and the CBC Curriculum Schools under the Taraji Afrika Academy Schools Brand," TAEG Founder and CEO Prisca Muyodi said.

She spoke during a rebranding ceremony at Brookside International School, Redhill, Limuru.

“As we embark on this journey of rebranding, we are delighted to share the benefits and the continued commitment to our unique offerings that set us apart in the world of education.”

She added:

“It became apparent that we needed to refashion a coherent, future-facing brand identity that resonates better with our school community, the various curricula that we offer and the changing landscape of education in Kenya as a whole.”

Brookside International Schools, which offers the Cambridge curriculum, has two campuses in School Lane, Westlands and Redhill, Limuru.

Taraji Afrika Academy Schools, which offer the curriculum, are domiciled in Mountain View, Nairobi and JICA Estate, Kitui.

The Taraji Afrika Educational Group has been in operation since 2010, then under the brand name Educor.

The educational institution started as a Montessori centre and has progressively expanded to provide both Primary and Secondary education.

“I’m excited about the changes that are happening in our school. We will now be recognized as an institution that does not just cater to one category (Preparatory), but to the secondary and nursery students as well,” said 10-year-old Brookside International School, Westlands, Student Council DeputyPresident, Akinyi.
