ODM mourns Gem youth league chairman Aggrey Ombee

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party is mourning the death of Gem ODM Youth League chairman Aggrey Okoth Ombee.

According to the party, Ombee died after a short illness.

The party described the Gem Youth League chairperson as a hardworking and dedicated youth.

It added that he at all times stood for the rights of the youth he represented.

"We are saddened to learn of the death of Aggrey Okoth Ombee after a short illness. Until his death, Ombee was Chairman of the Gem Branch of the ODM Youth League. We have lost a hardworking and dedicated youth who stood for the rights of the youth," ODM said on X.

His death comes barely two months after the party lost Migori County chairperson Phillip Makabong'o and Wundanyi branch chairperson Christopher Mchana.

Makabong'o died in December last year, while Mchana died on January 8.
