Missing Child Kenya Foundation has sent out a public appeal to help trace a 16-year-old boy who went missing on Monday in Matungu, Kakamega County.

"Aldrine Kelly Mwasambu was last seen on January 8, 2024. Please share an alert to help reunite him with his family," the foundation said on its X handle.

It said the boy was last seen around his home area in Matungu near the meteorological station in the Mumias area.

"He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt with a light blue back pocket, grey sweatpants and grey crocs."

The foundation asked anyone with information about the whereabouts of the boy to contact the nearest police station or call the toll-free number 0800-22-33-44.
