Safaricom-owned M-Pesa services are now back after hours of downtime on Tuesday.

The company said Kenyans can now continue enjoying the services.

"All M-Pesa services are now available. We apologise for any inconveniences caused and thank you for your patience as we worked to restore services," Safaricom said in a statement.

Earlier on when this writer tried to transact through M-Pesa, a message popped up indicating; "The parameters of data sources are null null."

The same error was experienced while trying to transact through the M-Pesa app.

"M-PESA is undergoing scheduled maintenance," the pop-up indicated.
