Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has showered Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua with praises as she turns a year old.
In his birthday message, Kalonzo describes Karua as a principled leader who does not sugar-coat things.
The former Vice president said he is very privileged to have a friend in the former Justice minister.
"Wishing an incredibly unique patriot; an unfaltering leader whom I'm privileged to call my friend, the happiest of birthdays. God continue to bless you Mama Martha Karua," Kalonzo said in a tweet.
Karua who ran in the August 2022 presidential election as Raila Odinga's running mate turned 66 years old.
In a tweet on Friday, Karua expressed her gratitude for her journey in life so far.
She went on to say that she also looks forward to what life has for her in the coming days.
"Sixty-six today and grateful for having travelled this far, grateful for the many blessings, and looking forward to what lies ahead," she said.
Karua is a mother of two and also has grandchildren.
