Raila attends church service at Othoo SDA in Nyando

Azimio leader Raila Odinga has attended a church service at Othoo Seventh Day Adventist church in Nyando.

The former Prime Minister will also take part in a fundraiser for the church after the service.

He is accompanied by other leaders from the Azimio coalition leadership as well as the local elected leaders.

They include former Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, and Kisumu Deputy Governor Mathew Owili.

Others are MPs, Jared Okello (Nyando), Rosa Buyu (Kisumu West), James Nyikal (Seme), Ong'ondo Were (Kasipul) and Homa Bay Women Rep Joyce Osogo.

On Friday, Raila led the Azimio team in mourning the victims of police brutality.

The leaders attended a funeral service for some of the victims in Bondo, Siaya county.

Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka and Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua who were also present condemned police brutality and urged the international community to turn their focus on Kenya.
