Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Friday breathing fire after police allegedly raided the home of his son Jomo in Karen.

This made the 4th President of the Republic of Kenya break his long silence over what has been going on in the country.

The former president called out the government for going after his mother and children.

He asked President William Ruto to instead face him head and leave his family alone.

Uhuru said that he protected the country while serving as the fourth president but he will now protect his family.

But who is Uhuru's son Jomo Kenyatta?

The former president has three children known as Jomo, Jaba and Ngina Kenyatta.

Jomo is the eldest son among his three siblings and was born in April 1989.

He is an alumni of Hilton College and Micheal House in KwaZulu Natal Midlands, South Africa.

He is married to Fiona Achola and together they have two children, Wanjiru and Uhuru.

Their two children were named after Uhuru and former First lady Margaret.

Achola is allegedly from the lineage of Luo political kingpin Dr William Odongo Omamo.

Jomo has kept his private life out of the media. Despite this, he has on many occasions been spotted in events presided over by his father, while he was head of state.

Jomo seemingly has inherited the political tendencies and has been following the footprints of his father Uhuru.
