Justice Roselyne Korir will deliver a sentence against Saragay and three others who were also found guilty.

Dwight was arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts in 2012 and charged with the murder of Fonseca.

He was charged alongside Ahmed Omindo, Alex Sifuna, Moses Kiprotich and Kirui Chelogoi.

Another suspect Mohamed Ahmed Hassan was never captured and warrants of his arrest remain unexecuted to date.

Fonseca was found murdered in her Runda residence in Nairobi.

She was strangled to death on July 26, 2012, less than two weeks after arriving in Kenya to head the diplomatic mission.

Olga's body was found lying on her bed with a wire cord around her neck, hands and legs.

In her judgement, Trial Judge Roselyn Korir said the state had proved their case against the accused persons apart from Chelogoi who was acquitted.

The prosecution presented an array of witnesses, 37 in total and produced 39 exhibits that were used to pin down the four.

Sagini assault case

A Kisii court will today deliver a judgement in the case where three people have been charged in the Baby Brighton Junior Sagini case.

In April, the court put the three accused persons who are all related to baby Sagini on their defence ruling that they have a case to answer.

Court Magistrate Christine Ogweno said the pieces of evidence presented before the court was solid and strong enough to convict the three - Alex Ochogo, Pacifica Nyakerario and Rael Nyakerario.

Magistrate Ogweno said the testimony provided by ten witnesses solidly convict the three.

Baby Sagini then 3 years was discovered in a thicket in Ikuruma, Marani, Kitutu Chache North on the morning of December 14 with his eyes gouged out.

The evidence adduced gives gruesome insight into an assault on humanity most foul, said Ogweno.

"Until the agreed time within which they would give a defence, this court finds them guilty of all the charges prosecution brought against them," she said.

They were facing attempted murder charges before they were later dropped to cause grievous bodily harm.
