Azimio leader Raila Odinga has told off Nyandarua Senator John Methu over claims he opened the servers.

Raila was responding after the senator said he had the servers he has been looking for.

"Bwana Senator (Senator John Methu) ananiambia ati yeye yuko na server ameangalia server, sijui nani alituma yeye aangalie server," Raila said.

(Senator Methu tells me that he is the one who has and the server and he opened it. Who send you to open the server?).

Raila said that he has a long history with President William Ruto and he knows what he is asking for.

"I have worked with President William Ruto for a long time now so when you talk like that I just look at him but I know he will cool down," Raila said.

Methu on Saturday said that he has the server Raila has been looking for all along.

He added that he opened the servers and saw that Ruto won the 2022 general elections fairly.

"I want to apologize, forgive me because I heard that there is something you have been looking for in Nairobi, I am the one who has it. I heard that you lead demos and destroyed people's properties looking for servers and  I am the one who has the servers, the server you were looking for in Nairobi, I am the one who opened it," Methu explained.

The Senator urged Raila to move on and try presidential elections in the upcoming years since Ruto will not let go of the government.

"Raila, I have opened the servers and seen that the government defeated us . I want to tell you that servers shows they (government) defeated us. Let us give them time to work.

"Try in 2032 or 2042 because they are not willing to let go maybe you try in the next years to come," he added.

The Opposition boss said the Kenyans should continue to remain united and just like Mau Mau veterans to speak truth to power.

He spoke during the funeral service of Field Marshall Mukami Kimathi in Njabini, Nyandarua County.

He said that through the bipartisan talk they will be able to solve issues that affects Kenyans.
