Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has spilt beans on why he fell out with Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Wednesday, Duale alleged that Raila had a hand in dismissing him as an Assistant Livestock Minister together with Ruto, who was the then Minister for Agriculture.

He said that at the time they were getting sacked, Ruto and himself started drifting apart from ODM party.

“It is Raila who fired Ruto…William Ruto and I were fired on the same day. It was around three o’clock. I was in my office and the screens showed the following have been sacked as ministers,” Duale said.

The CS and President Ruto met while they were members of the ODM under Raila's leadership.

"My contribution to the Agriculture ministry is on record but the Sugar cartels made sure I was sent away," he said.

Ruto said the same cartels are the ones who have taken over the Jubilee Party.
