This week Muslims in Nairobi hosted President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua among other leaders for Iftar at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
This is even as fish farmers in Dunga Beach Kisumu experienced a rough week after fish worth millions mysteriously died in cages.
As all this happened, Kenyans braved the heavy downpour on Friday to attend to their daily businesses.
And a great Easter for an orphaned baby elephant after it was rescued by the Kenya Wildlife Service team in Eselenkei, on the border of Amboseli National Park.

An aerial view of MT Nord Dolphin at the dock on berth no 2 of Mombasa port on Thursday.The two crude oil tankers; 252-metre-long MT Front Capella and 250-metre-long MT Nord dolphin arrived in the country on Thursday loaded with 172,191 tonnes of petrol, diesel and aviation fuel.

Uhuyi Sub-location Assistant Chief, Samuel Indakwa Maero, helps clean Mrs. Margaret Ouma's jigger infested feet, at Uhuyi "A" village, during one of his philanthropic activities. When he joined the government service as an Assistant Chief, Samuel Indakwa Maero, vowed never to stop his small-time philanthropic activities of visiting the elderly, destitute and sharing whatever little he had.
