Raila had announced that the first town hall meeting will take place in Nairobi on Thursday starting at 9 am.

At the same time, President William Ruto is set to visit the Ukambani region on April 15 and 16, 2023 to inspect ongoing government projects and launch new ones.

Ghana approves 'world-changer' malaria vaccine

Ghana is the first country to approve a new malaria vaccine that has been described as a "world-changer" by the scientists who developed it.

The vaccine - called R21 - appears to be hugely effective, in stark contrast to previous ventures in the same field.

Motion passed on banditry 

Marakwet County Assembly passes motion petitioning Parliament to declare banditry a terrorist act.

It also wants bandits to be declared a terrorist group and that Parliament shall institute legislation on the same. 

Prosecution law passed

Visiting UK troops who commit the offence on Kenyan Soil will be prosecuted under the Kenya law after House adopted a report of the National Assembly Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations on the Defence Cooperation Agreement between Kenya and the United Kingdom
