Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has told off Azimio leader Raila Odinga over his calls to have the Cherera Four reinstated at the IEBC.

Mudavadi said that Raila's demands to reinstate former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioners are unconstitutional as they are not anchored in any law.

The Prime CS said the country cannot afford to entertain talks out of the Constitution or existing laws of the land.

"They have tried through legal means but they have failed and are now working on unconstitutional demands," Mudavadi said.

Raila has demanded that the four commissioners who were pushed out of office be reinstated as part of his conditions to call off mass action.

Former Vice chairperson Juliana Cherera and commissioners Justus Nyang'aya and Francis Wanderi resigned while Irene Masit was removed from office by a tribunal.

Mudavadi said there is no law that allows the President to discuss with Raila about the former IEBC commissioners who wanted to plunge the country into chaos.

"You want to say that people who nearly cost this country be reinstated, under which law?" Asked Mudavadi.

The PCS said the government is solid and ready to deliver on its agenda to Kenyans.

"The government is stable with the aim of resuscitating our economy," he said.

Mudavadi spoke in Kisii on Friday during the homecoming ceremony of Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
