"We wish to express our deepest disappointment with the breach of order experienced this morning at the event when factions of a member political party brought internal party differences to the open and clashed publicly before guests and partners," the statement read.

Kega was on Thursday thrown out of the meeting by irate youths.

The EALA MP is said to have arrived at the venue where his Jubilee party had staged a table to interact with Kenyans.

Other parties such as ODM, KANU, UDA and KUP were also at the venue.

A clash is said to have ensued between the EALA MP and supporters of Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni who were at the venue.

A video seen by the Star showed the youths chanting:

"Toka kwa chama yetu, enda EALA. Leave our party and go to Tanzania."

Minutes after he was removed from the meeting, the EALA MP expressed his reservations about the developments.

"We want to say that Jubilee is known as a peaceful party, what we have witnessed here today is totally not Jubilee. Jubilee does not stand for mass action," he said.

Jubilee party has recently experienced leadership wrangles after the National Executive Council of the party suspended the party's vice chair David Murathe and Kioni.
