President William Ruto will on Tuesday tour the ongoing construction of the mother and baby wing at Nakuru level 5 hospital.

He will be accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Senators resume

Members of Parliament and Senators will on Tuesday resume sitting after a long recess.

The first business in both Houses will be the approval of members to the house business committees.

At the Senate, the speaker is also set to deliver a communique from the President on the nomination of Susan Koech for appointment as CBK deputy governor and four other members to the National Climate Change Council.

Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok is set to appear before the Senate's CPAC over audit queries raised by the Auditor General.

Launch of 2023 Migrant Response Plan (MRP)

International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Director General António Vitorino arrived in the country to preside over the launch of the 2023 Migrant Response Plan (MRP).

The initiative is seeking to raise Sh8.4 billion.

Digitising health sector

The Ministry of Health is implementing a nationwide health management system in an effort to digitise the health sector.

This is in a bid to promote Universal Health Coverage.

Currently, the system has been implemented in Othaya and in Kitengela and the MoH is working with the county government of Nairobi to implement the system in Nairobi’s health facilities.

MoH with the University of Nairobi will be launching the system at the University staff clinic.

Cafe Deli to gift cops

Cafe Deli will on Valentine's Day gift cops, led by Central Police OCPD, as an appreciation token for maintaining high security and peace in the CBD last year.

The event will take place at Cafe Deli Restaurant from 10 am to 12 pm.
