President William Ruto on Friday met the with New York Stock Exchange dignitaries.

In a statement on Saturday, Ruto said targeted focus will boost investment through increased capital flows, make them more robust and create more opportunities for Kenyans.

"We are intentionally re-energising capital markets to make them more efficient, effective and vibrant in recognition that they power our economic prosperity," he said.

The President was accompanied by first lady Rachael Ruto, Prime Cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Trade CS Moses Kuria, Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua and Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung'u.

Ruto was among African leaders who attended the United States-African Leaders Summit in US.
