Babu Owino conducts twelve topics in Maths KCSE revision

Through his social media pages the class attracted a viewership of over 2000

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has once again taken to social media to teach Form Four students Mathematics.

Through his social media pages, that is Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, the class attracted a viewership of more than 2000.

Owino started by encouraging the students saying Mathematics is an easy subject.

"I always try to make it as easy as possible. These are the common topic and they will be set in KCSE," Owino said.

The legislator picked topics ranging from Form 1 to Form 4.

The topics are LCM, algebra, variations, decimals, vectors, equations, differentiation and binomial expansion.

Others are indices, matrices, further logarithms, and fractions.

This comes days after the lawmaker committed to travel around the country teaching candidates.

The lawmaker committed to handling different topics weekly.

"We will be handing Grade 4, junior secondary, and Form One to Form Four pupils. We will be going around even in Turkana," he said.

In 2020, Owino was recognised by the United Nations and the Voice of America for his online classes.

The feature compiled by VOA was highlighted on the United Nations website.

Owino has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi back in 2012 and scored first-class honors.

He later enrolled in UoN for a Law degree and graduated with second-class honors, upper division in 2020.
