President William Ruto has picked 11 women for Principal Secretaries to serve in different state departments.

They include Teresia Mbaika Malokwe for State Department for Devolution, Esther Ngero State Department for Performance and Delivery Management and Aurelia Rono for State Department for Parliamentary Affairs.

Others are Caroline Nyawira Murage for State Department for Correctional Services, Beatrice Inyangala for Higher Education and Research, Roseline Njogu for Diaspora Affairs and  Veronica Nduva for Gender and Affirmative Action.

Josephine Mburu for Health Standards and Professional Management, Esther Thaara Muhoria for State Department for TVET and Susan Mangeni State Department for MSMEs, Betsy Muthoni Njagi for State Department for Blue Economy and Fisheries are also on the list.
