Foreign Affairs CS nominee Alfred Mutua has said he is worth Sh420 million.

Speaking when he faced the National Assembly Committee on appointments on Monday, Mutua said the assets include hotels, businesses and a few apartments.

He said before he became Machakos Governor, his financial worth was about Sh200m.

"In the next 10 years, I hope to have doubled my income through my thriving business," he said.

He said he had invested and they had grown anmd he acquired land with money he got when he was working in the Middle East.

Mutua is the fourth cabinet nominee to face the panel today.

Cabinet secretary nominee for Defence Duale during vetting also disclosed that he is worth Sh851 million.

Duale said the assets include assets, 231 camels, sheep and goats.

"Chair, I'm worth Sh851 million including the assets I own. Including the goats, sheep and camels that I own I even had to go and value my 231 camels somewhere in Kitui county," he said.

Attorney General nominee Justin Muturi said his net worth is Sh700 million.
