Lawyer Nelson Havi has said those dissatisfied with Supreme Court's verdict on the presidential petition should take their complaints to the Judicial Service Commission.

The former LSK President said the legal profession should stand in solitary with the apex court and wade off attacks from parties dissatisfied with its judgment on the poll petition.

"If anyone has a complaint against one or more judges, forward the same to the Judicial Service Commission," he said in tweet on Monday.

His remarks followed remarks by a section of Azimio leaders who insinuated that the seven-judge bench of the court was baised in its verdict delivered on September 5.

Siaya Governor James Orengo said the Supreme Court decision that upheld William Ruto's win was not a judicial judgement and termed it a great injustice to the country.

“The person who wrote that judgment has done a great injustice to the rule of law,” Orengo said.

Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah and Azimio running mate Martha Karua also cast aspersions on the court's judgment.

On Monday, the Supreme Court called for an end to what it termed as sustained sponsored attacks on the judges.

The court said in rendering the verdict over the petition, it was merely exercising its mandate in accordance with the Constitution.

"The persons sponsoring and executing the attacks on social media to disparage the Court are advised to desist forthwith," the statement reads.
