Moi to cast vote at 9am as Rongai records low turnout

Rongai MP elections were cancelled on August 9 over mixup of ballot papers.

Rongai MP Raymond Moi is expected to cast his vote at 9am in Rongai, Nakuru.

Moi is seeking a third term  having come into office in 2013 on a Kanu ticket.

He is vying against United Democratic Alliance party's Paul Kibor at former are MP, Luka Kigen who is on Chama Cha Mashinani.

He is expected to cast his vote at Mercy Njeri Primary School Polling Center.

By 8:35am, only less than 100 people had voted in all the three polling station centre including Mercy Njeri Primary School.

Rongai MP elections were cancelled on August 9 over alleged mixup of ballot papers.

On Sunday, the Constituency Returning Officer, Hilda Lokwawi said everything was set for today's election, complete with spare KEIMS kits.
